LAHORE: Supreme Court Bar Association President Aitzaz Ahsan, who has been placed under house arrest since November 3, has got a high fever. Aitzaz Ahsan was released for three days on Thursday to celebrate Eidul Azha with his family but he was rearrested the same night while travelling to Islamabad on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway. During the arrest, Aitzaz and his son, Ali, were manhandled and beaten up by the Chauntra police. Aitzaz was bundled into a police van. He was taken to Lahore on Friday morning. Besides high fever Aitzaz also has a pain in his back and neck. His fever is said to have been caused by the sub-zero chill and wind blasts that he braved for several hours while being taken to Lahore on the police van.
