This is shocking news. I would not have expected this kind of thing from the so-called custodian of the judiciary.

“This is the same politician who appointed 20 workers of his party as judges when he was Federal Minister for Law. Those judges were later dismissed by the judiciary as most of those had never appeared before the court,” he said and added that those also included Ahmed Saeed Awan who was a convict in a murder case. “Why he did not resign when a criminal was made judge?” Waqas Akram asked.

The Parliamentary Secretary said the court slashed those appointments and gave a 350 page decision. He asked as to why Aitzaz Ahsan had not resigned in protest when PPP chairperson publicly said that she wanted to appoint her party’s Secretary General as Chief Justice of Supreme Court.

Shocking as it maybe, but its still not shocking as Narendra Modi murdering 5000 Muslims in Gujarat and getting away with it. Look in the mirror before pointing fingers at others. :)

How is it possible that in 1985 he was in Teheek-e-Istaqalal but in 1977 he was in PPP, Aalsi do you have any idea or proof? or this is all BS crape as usual, you Duo kept on misguiding here.

What is more shocking is how Aitzaz Ahsan’s supporters will do everything but condemn these actions by him. I’m afraid that exposes the hypocrisy of their argument. Aitzaz Ahsan appointed a murderer and party workers as judges, but all that is now forgotten.

Whatever you are posting against Aitzaz as his past blunders....well there are two ways of looking at things....he resigned from ppp during 1977 when the party had apparently won the elections and it seemed at that time that ppp and Bhutto will become something like life time ruler/dictator.....any non principled person who was after power would never have dreamt of leaving Bhutto at that time.....infact none of Bhutto's friend leave him no matter what he did>>>

Why don't you find some logical reasons to defend your criminal Hitler like dictator....

As mentioned to you several times it is a flawed way of thinking....blaming past mistakes of others for present actions of this law breaking tyrant....even if we all agree with you about past mistakes of others....two wrongs will never make a right>>>

So Aitzaz Ahsan is a hypocrite then when he says he wants a free judiciary, and one free of political stooges? After all he appointed political party workers as judges, and a murderer as well.

Not True. If President Musharaf was not sincere, then Pakistan would not have seen the Unprecedented Growth it has seen during the past eight years.
