Rest assured that Aishwarya Rai isn’t going bald. It’s just that she would be seen donning a special wig designed by Hollywood make-up artist Paul Pattison for some portions of Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s film Action Replayy.
Reason? Since the movie’s story progresses backwards in time, Shah wanted a unique look for the leading stars Aishwarya and Akshay Kumar for the sequences that are set in the 1970s.
After much discussion with the creative team and the leading pair, Shah roped in Paul Pattison since he didn’t want Ash and Akki to wear tacky wigs. Pattison has considerable experience working in a number of Hollywood films, including ‘Mission Impossible II’ and ‘Braveheart’.
In fact, we hear that Pattison is paying meticulous attention to the looks and hairdos of the extras and junior artists, too, on the sets at Nitin Desai studios in Karjat.
‘Action Replay’ will have Ash and Akki in a variety of looks.
