It was the war of two beautiful faces from India in the 63rd Film Festival in Cannes. While Aishwarya Rai is a more or less a familiar face in the Cannes, it was attended for the first time by the leggy actress Deepika Padukone. While Aishwarya has earned scathing remarks from designers for her fashion disasters earlier, it seems that Deepika has impressed everyone in her first attendance itself.

While Aishwarya stuck to designer gowns with western cuts, Deepika made India proud with her choice of outfit-a beautiful, dazzling sari. Deepika has explained her choice of outfits by claiming that since she will be representing India at a global event, it was important for her to carry a bit of her country along with her at the foreign nation. She went completely traditional in the Cannes and people were stunned to see how the gorgeous sari highlighted those curves and made her look so very stunning.

deepika'z choice of clothes was better than aish'z....but aish luked more beautiful...deepika luked very very pretty too but aishwarya luked very very very very pretty.

They're both gorgeous but I prefer Deepika's style..

Uh......why would you need to "confirm" it with your doctor? Yeh bhi doctor se koi poochnay wali baat hai???????? Banday ko kya khud nahin maaloom k woh male hai ya female????

I've always been curious. Doctor ko confirm karnay ki zehmat mat do. Khudi bata do.

i think ash has horrible dress sence. and it doesn't suit her when she has her hair up in like a bun! looks much better with loose curls and hair out.
