We Would Like to announce that after several discussions that took place with Aishe, a Non Muslim member in IslamWay Sisters, Aishe have finally said the shahada on April 5 2003. She is now a New Muslim Sister among us. We pray that Allah support her, guide her always and use her for the guidence of others.
Sister Aishe, have wrote to us about her journey to Islam:
I am From Germany but living in USA. My Mother is protestant and my Father is a catholic. I’m 37 years old, and I have two boys, both teenagers and they are still Christians.
No one introduced me to Islam, I decided on my own to read about Islam, because I wanted to know why people made fun of the Muslim world all the time?!
It took me a long time to come to ISLAM! I actually started to read about Islam, when I was 13 years old, and I don’t know why it took me that long time to revert! Perhaps, because I moved to USA. Beside my parents did not allow me to have Muslim friends.
I then married to a Christian American and for some reasons I got divorced. After My divorce the feeling about Islam became stronger, for a reason I don’t know and I wanted to revert however, I couldn’t find the right sites or people to help me in my area.
Lately Allah granted me with a Muslim man. He did not push me to revert, however, he provided me with Islamic books to read. I then decided to do an intensive research more about Islam, and while I was searching I cam across your site. I thank Allah for this, and as I started the discussion with you, I felt there is no reason to delay my shahada any more!
Al hamdolllah I said my shahada on April 5th 2003.
I am now trying to provide my children with Islamic material to allow them to know more about this religion, as I am hoping that they revert. However, I can’t push them, but I am certainly inviting them to Islam and I am trying my best.
I ask Allah to support me, and increase my faith always
