l love how in celebrity weddings, you rarely see the bride crying, she's always relaxed and having fun. Look at Maria B, Vaneeza Ahmed, even half the bollywood actreses, they always look so happy! And it's the same in this picture, there's no stiff poses, Aisha looks really happy and like she's having fun.
If only us lot could manage that, eh?

^I think it's a shia thing. My cousin married into a devoted shia family and he wore that too but I could be wrong.

It's called an Imam Zamin..they don't always say "ya ali madad", sometimes it's any ayat or name of allah...to protect from nazar i think...we're hyderabadi (not shia though) and tie imam zamin on the grooms arm as well....

My parents always tie an Imam Zamin with money in it on my arm when I travel... My dada does it to my parents when they go (my dad's shia, mom's sunni).
They look like a cute, fun couple! Very rare to see this in wedding pics.
