Aish on Letterman / Aish on Oprah (Merged)

I just missed Letterman. Anyone have info on how her appearance was on the show?

Re: Aish was on Letterman...someone fill us in.

She was being all giddy and laughed too much. I dont think she can give interviews.

Re: Aish was on Letterman...someone fill us in.

What was she wearing, indian or western clothing?

Re: Aish was on Letterman...someone fill us in.

western. a short skirt with long boots.

Re: Aish was on Letterman...someone fill us in.

She cannot dress trendily.
She cannot talk intellectually.
She cannot act professionally.

And all of those things and more came out last night on the Letterman
show. And that comeback about not having to set up appointments
with parents in response to Letterman's simple question, did she really
live with her parents at 32? Wrong move.
She's ungraceful, unpleasant and curt.

Re: Aish was on Letterman…someone fill us in.

agreed! :k:

Re: Aish was on Letterman...someone fill us in.

She was extremely unimpressive.
Eearlier on in the show, Letterman was actually in a rush to have her on, when he joked about getting Kevin James in and out quickly, so he could call Ashwariya Rai in. But his body language later on suggested that he too was not impressed with her as a guest. She basically didnt have anything to say, and was trying to be funny, her biggest mistake.

Aishwarya Rai on Oprah Winfrey shiw

AISHWARYA RAI FEATURING ON OPRAH WINFREY SHOW!
Bollywood beauty interviewed by US talkshow queen!

With the increase in ratings for the Aishwarya Rai show on 60 minutes and Latenight with David Letterman, Oprah Winfrey, the queen of American talk shows has pulled Aishwarya Rai for an hour long show. The Bollywood beauty will feature on the show as part of the American publicity campaign for her English language movie Bride and Prejudice. Aishwarya has already appeared on 60 Minutes and more recently made a good impression on the David Letterman Show. It looks like America is truly being introduced to the ravishing Rai! The American premiere of Bride and Prejudice takes place in New York on Wednesday 9th February at the UA Union Square Theatre

Re: Aishwarya Rai on Oprah Winfrey shiw

Hmmmm… Finally some one from bollywood is making news in USA. I hope some day they interview Amitabh on a leading channel.
:k:

Re: Aishwarya Rai on Oprah Winfrey shiw

that’s exactly what I was thinking when this stupid Letterman dude acted all stupid having no knowledge of “Bollywood”… America’s bound to be impressed.

Re: Aishwarya Rai on Oprah Winfrey shiw

They should interview Dilip Kumar, Naseruddin Shah, Saeed Jaffrey, Amitabh, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosale, Shahrukh Khan.....

Re: Aish was on Letterman…someone fill us in.

I thought that was great answer from Aishwarya and shut Letterman’s mouth. Also another good point from her was she she asked backed Letterman " How did he got started in this gig?". It was funny.
Overall it was ok .Only if she stops giggling too much

Re: Aishwarya Rai on Oprah Winfrey shiw

oh man i have never missed bollybuster more... we need someone to come up with a different line on this topic :D

Re: Aish on Letterman / Aish on Oprah (Merged)

I think this interview was so much better and she did not giggle that much at all as compare to her 60 min program where she was being too much of smart ass. I guess i have seen lot of stupidness on letterman show by very good actresses that it makes me want to appreciate this interview :D

Re: Aish on Letterman / Aish on Oprah (Merged)

just saw that interview. i think she did fine.I mean it was 10 min interview with a comedian so what else can you expect. The didnt giggle as much it is mentioned here. may be i was expecting more after reading all the comments.
Most of the time they were introducing india to usa and talked less about aish herself.
but still she didnt do bad at all.

Re: Aish on Letterman / Aish on Oprah (Merged)

I watched it. She was giggling for no reason and the crowd was probably forced to laugh with her to not make her look bad.

Re: Aish on Letterman / Aish on Oprah (Merged)

What kind of bhungun she is :stuck_out_tongue: indeed a true bollywood actress.

She didn’t get the joke about the ‘Happy days reunion’ and was totally confused how to react.
