Re: airlines crashing

He won’t need it if he’s left earth.

Re: airlines crashing

You’ll be alright. It’s malaysian airlines which have had around 80% of fatalities so far this year and the other being small airlines which carry around 130 people on board.

Re: airlines crashing

I’m traveling with 2 children. I think the insensitive replies are.not appropriate here and now

Re: airlines crashing

sorry :frowning:

Inshallah you’ll be fine. don’t worry about it.

Re: airlines crashing

You should travel by bus, nowdays people prefer bus over plane

Re: airlines crashing

^Yeah cuz busses can cross oceans.

Re: airlines crashing

Let’s be realistic. Around 64 million planes fly the skies every year (commercial, cargo, private etc).

27 planes so far have crashed in 2014 (11 commercial like malaysian airlines). If it wasn’t for what happend with the 2 malaysian flights, it would have been the same as any other year and no one would care how many planes have crashed (except those affected by the 000.001% of plane crashes).

You got a 1 in 6 chance of being in a car accident and around a 1 in 2 million chance of being in a plane accident.

Re: airlines crashing

It can if it gets onto a boat but statistically speaking planes are still safer than boats, cars and coaches.

Sentry made a good post…but it still makes u nervous. My cousins were flying out about an hour or so before the Malaysian flight was shot down and they were at the airport watching it all…the youngest freaked out and refused to board the plane lol. Took em a while to calm him down. My husband is traveling in a few weeks too…i hope his flight is safe iA.

Re: airlines crashing

why not have a compromise? how about flying a bus…Airbus, that is!

Emirates do fly Airbus 380.
