The Air Force diet is another fad diet that is both strict and low in calories. It was originally developed in the Soviet Union to keep soldiers fit. The diet has many similarities to the three day diet, but it instead it lasts seven days instead and has a slightly different menu.While on the Russian Air Force diet, you should drink at least 4 glasses of water or diet soda a day. Also, you are allowed to put herbs, salt, pepper, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, mustard and ketchup on your meals. On the first day you will begin with just coffee for breakfast. Your next meal will be 2 eggs and a tomato. For dinner, you are allowed 7 ounces of red meat and a green salad. This day is much like the other seven.
aThis diet, like many of its kind, does provide an appropriate number of calories. You can expect to be low on energy and you should refrain from working out while on this diet. Though it may lead to rapid weight loss, the weight may return quickly because the diet does not teach you to change your eating habits overall.
