Android users have you used the airdrop app? if you haven’t then you’re missing on something really powerful. i have been using this app for couple days. only time i have picked up my S3 is when i get calls, otherwise everything on the computer. you can message, add music, almost do everything from you computer that you can do on the phone except make calls. this app is very powerful.

I wish iOS had the same feature or the app, but apple is never going to let anything like this on their app store, it will sway people away from itunes. yea, niksik i have an S3 for couple days now. still getting use to the size but so far so good. finally gotten use to the keyboard.

Ha. but seriously this one app has really changed my mind. if this app can do this i wonder what else can android really do. one thing im having issues is with group messaging on native app. is there any way i can group messaging on native app? i know i can do it with third party like handcent app, but i rather do with native app.

yes i had the S3 returned it. had the 4S for a month till i got an iphone 5. on craigslist someone was selling a S3 +$350 for a iphone 5. so that's how i got it. i gave the person my iphone 5 unlocked and in return he gave me S3+$350. which i think is a good deal. so i did it.

And if you want a desktop alternative for AirDroid, try this app called MyPhoneExplorer , its a windows app, you can backup, restore your complete phone, you can create backups of SMS, Call Logs, Contacts on your computer, You can replay to SMS’s, eene can answer calls (will show desktop notifications for calls), you can connect your phone with MPE using cable, Bluetooth or WiFi, i have been a huge fan of MPE from my Sony Ericsson days.
I have call logs and SMS for almost 7 years, each and every call i made, received and missed in the last 7 years.
@ Nikki, if you have a windows machine, try MPE and make thread for it
