Airbrush makeup

Does anyone know what airbrush makeup is or has used it? It’s supposed to give a perfect finish, especially good for pictures. It is also much more costly than regular makeup. Is it worth the price??

Re: Airbrush makeup

i've just seen the sally hanses airbrush foundation in duane reade.....never tried but i saw a woman undergoing a makeover in this show "what not to wear" and the makeup artist used that on her. she kinda prayed a bit on the face then blended with a sponge and said it gives an even matte finish......
coverage is sheer i think

Re: Airbrush makeup

Thanks shweetdreamz, I didn't know that Sally Hansen made airbrush makeup (that would be much more affordable than the prices I saw for custom color blends online--close to $100!).

I went to a wedding recently, and the bride had gotten the airbrush makeup done from a makeup artist. In person it looked ok (she has naturally pretty skin, the makeup kind of hid it), but her pictures turned out beautiful!!

Re: Airbrush makeup

true :k: and it cost 9 to 10$ depends on drug stores price but not more than that

Re: Airbrush makeup

hey after this thread i actually went to duane reade and saw that airbrush makeup....yeah i think it was around $10.....i just stood there and stared at it till my head hurt debating whether to get it or not. see the stuff that ends up in a corner in duane reade is usually the unpopular stuff and it was in a corner. also in the instructions/ingredients part it didnt say anything like non-comedogenic/oilfree/allergy free etc or what sort of skin type its for, i have sensitive skin so i didnt get it....

just some more info i thought i'd share .....
