**Pakistani military aircraft have bombed areas near the Afghan border killing at least 11 people, local officials say.**One air strike in the Mamozai area in Orakzai reportedly targeted a Taliban compound also housing a seminary.
A second strike hit a car carrying militants, officials said. About 10 people were also injured in the raids.
Militants led by Pakistani Taliban commander Hakimullah Meshud are thought to have moved to Orakzai, following a troop offensive in South Waziristan.
There have been a number of recent air raids in Orakzai.
Reports say thousands of civilians have left their homes in the area.
Unconfirmed reports earlier this year said Hakimullah Mehsud had been hit in a drone strike - his current whereabouts are unknown.
