I’ve been using this app a lot lately as it’s just so much easier to manage your phone, especially if it has as much data as mine does on it for an unrooted user like me :D. I’m sure most of you already know what it is but it was recommended to me by TofiBaba when I bought my S3 in July this year. It’s a free app that allows you to manage your phone via your browser. So you download the app on your phone. Then your laptop/computer need to be on the same WiFi, you go to the website the Air Droid app on your phone tells you to, enter a password, and voila! You can see your phone and everything inside it on your browser.
Every now and then I clean up my text messages, photos and videos, reorganize files etc., and keep my phone clean. You can do all this on your phone too of course, but I can easily move files and upload them elsewhere if I need to free up space for instance.
Today I found out that I have used 8GB of memory out of 12GB which was pretty alarming so I deleted some of my over 2000 photographs. I also found out that I have 387 apps (system + downloaded). I have to admit that I use most of what I’ve downloaded. And the ones I don’t, I had the opportunity to uninstall today as well.
So that’s about Air Droid. Please share what else you’ve used it for, etc.
