we had to move move out of pakistan, and i used to dread not being able to watch anak wala jin!!! i did watch it for about 4 months and it ws amazing.

Yeah, I sure remember AWJ. A couple of months ago I was going through old video tapes which I had recorded and there was an episode of AWJ on there. Prime showed it . Watched it with the same enthusiasm as I had in Pakistan

u forgot Charlies Mamu guys... Nastoor was such a cool character.. he used to spill water on our TV screen with that blood pressure gauge.
The point to note here is that whatever the Ainak wala jin team did, they did in a miniscule budget, sans any brilliant CGI animation and special effects to sex it up-- the show's appeal lied entirely in its story and the amazing characters they were able to chalk out. NOt to mention that the script was brilliantly penned by the writer [what was the guy's name?? I think he's a pretty famous script writer]. They should reprise that series again, it was so entertaining and everyone could relate to the stuff! Even the kids acted decently, which is very, very odd for a PTV show.
