After the initial episode of Aik haat kaa chaka by Lara, Afridi production came out with this master piece.

Is he crazy or what? what the hell he is eating ( or smoking ) nowadays, …

The ball pitched on the off stumps, he stand on one leg and BANG, …send the ball to midwicket..Amazing stuff from master blaster..

lara tried a similar thing off khalil but ended up skying the ball and was easily dismissed....

he thought he cud match afridi.... :p

^ nope that was the game plan against Lara. Three different bowlers tried the same thing and finally he was trapped. It was due to the injury in his left wrist. He couldn't hit hard on ON/leg side and was rightly given a ball to hit, which ofcourse was not accurate due to weak shot and ended up taking an edge.

Nothing unusual about that shot if Afridi has hit it. I've seen sixes from him much more unusual than this one. For example, a back foot six over cover is always a strange entity :) .

^ If you want to see the rain of back foot cover sixes watch WC03 Ind-Pak match. Sehwag and Tendilia beat the hell out of our batsmen in first few overs.

Abdul Razzaq is very good at hitting back-foot sixes over the cover....

i once heard a commentator saying that razzler is the only person after viv richards who hits sixes over the cover off the back-foot with such ease....
