Aik Mohabbat Sau Afsanay

The drama was aired on PT Prime staring Rohi Bano and Orang Zaib Laghari did anyone get a chance to watch it? The drama was quite old (black n white) but man Rohi Bano performance was excellent. :k: She was one hell of an actress.

I don't watch anything on Prime TV these days but I did get a chance to catch this drama.
Very original, nothing like today's bollywood copy cat crap, very good story as well.

i think i may have seen it awhile back.... i miss dramaz :( i havent seen one for bout over a year or more... sucks big time..

does anyone know of any good Rahat Kazmi dramaz?

i watched it & must say it was really good! old dramas are very interesting.

I hate Prime. They never follow their schedule which is never updated. :mad2:

tobah…stop complaining!

Kiun jee, someone you know runs Prime?

doesn't it come everyday at 10 a.m.? who's home at that time, too bad lot of people like myself can't get to watch it due to this off time slot.

when did they show it? :bummer:

Did anyone get a chance to watch tonight episode. Damn it was fantastic, it was about the boy who wanted to join the Air Force but found out he is losing his sight..............

Very good story and top of that the background music was excellent.

I have watched atleast three episodes of these afsanay,
and i must say they are all excellent. They had talent in those days and i really like their eay of speaking, the complex urdu termnology

Why dont they make such good drama's and movies anymore, what has happened to Pakistani entertainment.

I really like Old Pakistani movies and drama's.

how many episodes are there of this in total?

I think a major credit of these plays goes to the playwright Ashfaq Ahmed. These plays were simply superb when originally aired in late 70's and still feel fresh. A couple of years back they were re-made and I guess this version is being shown on Prime these days.

Every play depicts love from a different perspective. I wish Pakistani dramas had not lost their way into commercialism.

to make non-commercial dramas, you need audiences with that kind of mentality. further your wish won't put food on their table and won't satisfy their basic needs of life. you need money to survive and commercialism is the only [preferable] way to do all that. for a small audience, they can't afford to make non-commercial dramas and waste money when its being pumped in by sponcers who wants huge profits in return. :~)

these dramas are excellent,i was really impressed, very well written & performed.

I think I was a bit vague in the last part of my above post. As I said, these plays were re-made a couple of years back by a commerical company Combine Productions by a popular commerical director/producer Ghazanfar Ali. All those remakes were equally hit. So people still appreciate good stuff. Thus there is nothing wrong in being commercial and still showing quality. Those people don't die of huner. They get good sponsorship.

However, such examples are few and far between. Most of the rest is like a bubble gum. You chew it for a while and throw it away and don't miss a single thing.

Man tonight’s episode was just AWESOME I wish I could put it in words but it was just an Excellent. I wish I could have recorded it. I normally do but I missed on this one and it was a big mis DAMN IT. Asif Raza Mir was in tonight’s episode too. :k:

Also Sheeba Hasan appeared in tonight’s episode, she is one of my favourite. She is the best actress of stage and I think she is the Lady Aman Ullah. (She is the one who performed the role of chandi…in sona chandi )

P.S. I think those living in USA and UK or outside PAK should watch this episode.

The series finished very quickley, i wonder how many episodes there were in total, i was hoping 100 (sau afsanay) as the title suggested. I really miss them!
