Two Students "A " & “B” go to a book shop to buy a dictionary of worth 45$. They both buy one one dictionary. They handedover the total sum of 90$ to the shopkeeper. Then the two students went out of the shop. The shop keeper then realize to give them a concession of 5$ as they were students. So he called his salesman and gave him 5$ to give to the students . The salesman cheated and kept 2$ in his pocket and gave 3$'s to the students. The students divided the returned money equally (1.5$ each). Now the amount of each dictionary which a single student paid is 45 - 1.5 = 43.5$ ] where 1.5 is the amount returned back to each student. Similarly the other student also paid 43.5$. Now the total = 43.5 + 43.5 = 87.0$ and the 2$'s which the salesman put in his pocket , now the total becomes 87.0 + 2.0 = 89.0$'s now the total is finished but where is the 1 $ ???
and
Three persons “A” , “B” & “C” go to a hotel to have a lunch. The bill was 30$ each person gave 10$'s. the total became 30$. they gave it to the manager. The manager returned 5$'s to them. the three persons gave 2$'s to the waiter and divided the remaining 3$'s equally . Since each person got 1$ back so the total became 9 + 9 + 9 = 27 (as each gave 9$'s) now when we add 2$'s which they gave to the waiter , the totals becomes 27 + 2 = 29$'s , but where is the 1 $ ???
OK now Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me
as those $2 were stolen so the money students got as concession was $3 now
total amount they paid= $90
concession they got = $3
so the amount they finally paid was 90-3 = 87
each paid was 87/2= 43.5
see those stolen $2 has nothing to do with this $87 amount if we wanna add those $2 in calculation we will do our calculation like that
total amount paid by students=$90
total cocession given =$5
so the supposed amount that students paid would be= 90-5=85
after adding the stolen amount the student finally paid= 85+2= $87
and thats true they paid 87$ or 87/2= 43.5 each
same is the case with the other situation.
those three man gave $30
money they got back = $5
so the supposed amount they paid was= 30-5=$25
but they gave $2 to waiter so the amount they paid was=25+2=27
and thats right they paid dollar 27 or 27/3=9 means dollar 9 each.
i tried my best to clear this to u ppl now rest of understanding is upto u!
