Point is that you lose. Punjab doesn't have mineral resources either. Your population is exploding as well so all the grain in the world would be needed with crop yields even worse than indian punjab.

All the processed food and commodities that are manufactured in karachi and are distributed to punjab and other parts of country will start being manufactured in other parts of the country. You will loose most of the consumers. There are alot of other implications. pros and cons for each.

If it is Sindhi leader then blame is on the leader as individual. if its Punjabi leader then blame is on whole Punjab. Its my feeling that Sindh should have joined Dhaka. It would have been better than getting lectures from them every other day.
Who started this bloody game of 'Bhutto and his qaum'? You Jamatis are really confused lot. Sometimes, qaum is on basis of territory (like Indian nationalism which caused opposition to Pakistan by your leaders), then sometimes it is based on religion (when your rapist shams o badar were committing atrocities against coreligionist Bengalis) and finally you have accepted that Sindhi is different qaum than Punjabis based on language. Chose your option with open-mind and don't flip your options.
BTW, thanks for letting us your wish to get rid of Sindhis. It is by no way surprising as this was the attitude with Bengalis (alag hote hain to ho bhooke nange Bengali). You people repeat Bhutto's 'Idhar Hum Idhar Tum', but that was dil ki awaz and prevalent thought of west Pakistan. the lower level jawan was not coward . They were way too brave. Just like many bengalis My father told me about a soldier who was appointed to protect one small bridge. He knew he gonna die but he didn't left his place n got shahadah by multi bani.
