So what history did you study? Deadlock over electoral justice led to breaking of country with millions dead, and you think it’s not important enough issue? You do know that MQM terrorists killed PTI’s Zahra Apa for asking for a recount, and you think such criminal denial of electoral justice doesn’t become matter of life and death? FYI. Zahra Shahid was a Muhajir.
It’s one thing to know history and show selective outrage on certain aspects, and another to learn lessons from it and strongly advocate the repeat of it. My point stands corrected that vast majority of hypocritical thekeydaar of 1971 don’t two hoots about the factors that led to it and are still so relevant in Pakistani politics.
PS: Back in the day, Mujib too wasn’t able to prove the electoral injustice and failed to garner support in West Pakistan who were more busy in ridiculing him, demonsing him and shutting him down just like intellectuaaals did with Imran.
Salute to those people who have learned lesson from the history and raised voice against electoral fraud.
