Once u will say that, there is always a guarantee from our part
now it’s your choice not ours, so yes leave it to ALLAH ![]()
Apart from the ones mentioned by others here, there is even a distance learning "uiversity" called American Open University. It offers a Bachelors and Masters program in different areas of Islam. smile

That is what you say.. I have seen plenty of people (some even on GUPSHUP) who say shias are not muslims, barailvis are not muslims, wahabis are non-muslims, bihais are out of Islam, Ismailis are not muslims at all.. so on and so forth.

This is unfair. You mean every caste within islam gets to be denounced by another except poor sunnis. How will they feel?
Actually, even sunnis are not immune from being declared as non-muslims. I think I read somewhere on this forum, that there is a group amongst the followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed who believe that anyone who does not agree to prophethood of Mirza Ghulam is not a muslim.
So there you go...to an outsider it would seem like muslims are fiercely protective of who they "allow" to be called "muslim".
can't believe i'm actually agreeing with ak47 on this subject ...

It's not a group, it's the whole Ahmadiya jamaat who beleives in that according to one of the saying of Mirza Qadiyaani himself :-)
The topic doesnt even make sense now, this is not the first college in the west is it?
I see AK47 is busy spreading his message of hate here too.. ak47, instead of issuing your fatwas, why dont you leave it upto Allah whether Ahmedis are muslims or not?
Oh, and btw, congrats to the Ahmedis on this accomplishment. You guys have done well in Canada, from what I have heard.
Anwaar bhai and ak47, i dont have words to explain my feelings but i am with u guys on this issue. May Allah give wisdome to everyone to see the right path and courage to take stand against the false idealogies.

Jama'at Ahmadiyya has the honor of introducing Islamic teachings for the first time in many part of the Western World through pure missionary work. *Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Sadiq sahib * was the first missionary to come to United States in the early 1920s. The first mosque built in many Western European countries was built by Ahmadiyya Jama'at. Mash'Allah!
A heart filled Mubarak'bad to everyone!

Does this guy's son live on the east coast? And does he have the same name as his father?
FF: East coast is pretty big and Ahmadis are all over. It could be one of his grand sons or someone totally unrelated who named their son after him.

i see spock is congratulating deviant people once again very strange!
There is no prophet after muhammad(saw)
"O people ! Muhammad has no sons among ye men, but verily, he is the Apostle of God and the last in the line of Prophets. And God is Aware of everything." (Surah Al Ahzab: 40)
As for fatwa i don't issue fatwas i stated a fact.
Oxford English Dictionary *Fact = Knowledge or information based on real occurrences: an account based on fact *
ahmadhis obviously don't belive (saw) as last prophet they belive in this guy who died on toilet mirza gulam ahmed as there prophet!

Ahmadjee Bhaijan, Moors were the first missionaries to the west (in the 8th century mind you). The spread Islam with Talwar.
FF. Why?
[/QUOTE]
Coz Madhanee I know of a guy with exactly the same name who's father had the same name too. The father was apparently some big shot in the ahmadi community too, if I'm not mistaken he had come here as a missionary too. The son is a bit of a crook though and was kicked out from imaamat in NJ I believe, because of his crooked ways.

ak47, there are other deviants too, does that mean we go on a killing spree and murder them all? You keep forgetting these people are a minority in Pakistan, and their safety is our responsibility. Fundamentalist elements that are busy bickering whether they are Muslims or not have made sure we never even touch the road to success, and we made sure alot of these ahmedis leave our country and hence we our void of their contributions to our country. Believe me, we could have learned some lessons from some of their qualities, such as unity. But no, we are busy with our love for the talibans and other fasaads.

Yes i agree there are other deviant groups. what I am saying the amhamdhi are not muslim.
But the soloution is not to slaughter them wholsesale as you stated. They need to be convinced that there beliefs is totally out of islam. To say there is prophet after muhammad(saw) is haram and take them out of fold of islam.
Your point about amhamdhi community they have lot of businesses and contribute a lot to pakistan society in term of commerce and progress is valid.
But on the other hand the issue is what they call for which they claim is islam but muslims know it is not. That is the issue that needs to be addressed not there unity or economic benefit that is different topic.

Ak47 I am glad you agree with me on some points, for instance the business contributions of the community are a good for the country. To be honest, I dont think wasting time on this issue whether they are Muslims or not is worth it. I mean they wont be convinced they are not Muslims, and we wont be convinced they are Muslims, so we will keep getting back to square 1, and in the meantime we void ourselves of some of the contributions they can offer us.
