Ahmadiyya Graveyard in Lahore Desecrated

In model town lahore, 15-20 armed people stormed the ahmadiyya graveyard and destroyed tombstones of over 100 graves.

“I saw around 15 bearded men wearing masks, carrying weapons and excavation tools including hammers. I at once dialled the number of the security incharge, on which they tied me up with a cloth,” the watchman told Daily Times.

When the security incharge received the call from the watchman, he rushed to the graveyard gate with a policeman. The inchrage entered the graveyard and asked the policeman to stay outside to control the situation. However, when the policeman saw the critical situation, he started aerial firing and called 15 to inform the police station.

Meanwhile in the graveyard the bearded men, after tying the watchman, caretakers and their family members and threatening them to leave the country on pain of dire consequences. They said that they belonged to the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan and a banned outfit and if they will not leave the country they would be killed. They also showed their anger over Islamic verses and Kalima on the tombstones of graves and started shattering the tombstones with hammers.

According to the spokesperson of Jamat-i-Ahmadiyya Pakistan Salim ud Din, the behaviour of the police remained unfriendly in the whole incident who even arrived two hours after the incident and did their routine investigation. He further said that the role of the police remained suspect due to their behaviour towards the community. He also confirmed that the police had not filed the FIR of the incident.

^ Wait for RM to reveal the famous "berooni haath" whose conspiracies would not be allowed to bear fruits by his ministry.

By the way, any inquiry announced by anyone so far? That's our favourite pastime — order an inquiry immediately as if we don't know the animals behind such an act.

Re: Ahmadiyya Graveyard in Lahore Desecrated

So everyone on this thread condemned such actions but where are our lot in Pakistan?
Why are only people like these idiots evident?
Are there no normal people that can represent Islam?

Re: Ahmadiyya Graveyard in Lahore Desecrated

So such things are thus justified?

Re: Ahmadiyya Graveyard in Lahore Desecrated

No. You are taking a wrong turn here. Prophet (pbuh) didn't set any such foolish example. He only cleansed the Kaaba from idols. Kaaba, which was built by Ibrahim (as) and was meant for praying to Allah alone. He (pbuh) didn't force anyone away from idol worship. He (pbuh) didn't call those Kaafirs who call themselves muslims. He didn't erase kalimas from mosques and tombstones.
If these people in reality had been trying to follow the prophet (pbuh), you would not have seen such callous attitude from them.

Re: Ahmadiyya Graveyard in Lahore Desecrated

Please cite a source where prophet destroyed a graveyard? From what I remember he said to respect the dead & whenever you're suppose to pass by a graveyard recite a dua.

Re: Ahmadiyya Graveyard in Lahore Desecrated

Sad incident and again law forcemeat agencies on top for blame.
