But no other are attempting to be as provocative, and fittig in with foreign sterotypes that feed into a war mentality. It's quite easy to deflate criticism against Iran, but hiding behind brazil and russia while in effect telling Europe and the US to "bring it on" is hardly fitting at this point in time. In short, I'm accusing him of attempting to start a war he cannot win, and there may be cultish reasons behind this.

I don't think he's being provocative, he's simply being truthful. Besides, giving in to US's every request hasn't brought any good to the muslim world either.

what world do u live in?......although a low intensity one at times but Iran and the US have been at war for the last 3 decades since the Islamic revoloution in Iran..........US invaded Iran in 1980 (read: Operation Eagle Claw) and also had Saddam invade them and fight the longest war ever fought b/w1980-1988.......

I see nothing wrong in what he said and yet many still think ill of him… let me be absolutely clear he is by far the outstanding Muslim statesman of his time and as a Muslim for better or worse i shall stand by him so long as he continues to voice the Muslim peoples feelings across the world.

Come you need to be realistic. These guys walked out. They did not throw paper weights and started a slanging match.
Okay seriously it’s still hardly polite to walk out, it’s a small slight that is not worth the price believe me… it’s just one more sign hat radicals will pick up on and if a life was lost becuase someone could not sit and listen to anothe person talking then shame it is indeed.
Besides if diplomacy is to be made such a mockery of then who can blame the terrorists for surely a transgression is a transgression be it great or small… and with that in mind the first transgretion is as bad as the last.
