Please it would help differentiate between the differing views expressed as well as help sum up and draw a conclusion on peoples views?

I agree with you there Early Bird afterall this is a Pakistani forum and Iran has stood by our nation a lot more faithfully than many others i could mention.

What happens to freedom of speech when it comes to Ahmadenajad? You can say whatever about Muslims no matter how insensitive but you question 9/11 or holocaust and you're labled anti-semit.

Sorry to disappoint the swarm of ahmedenijad fans and supporters but this move as a head of a state to go to a UN general assembly in New York, the city where 9/11 attacks occurred, and accuse US government of involvement in 9/11 is just not a smart move on Ahmedenijad's part. It is one thing to have these theories come out for conspiracy theorists but the place and the stage required him to show some sense which he showed himself to be incapable of. He has pushed the limits of the hospitality of his host country and lost important support in a world forum by showing himself as a hysterical nutcase that should not be taken seriously.
This has nothing to do with his hyperbole positions against Israel and west in general that many people around here love him so much for. His religious orientation also seem to get him unquestioned support from a certain sect. All the responses in his support here are focused on these aspects and not answering the foolishness of his utterances in this particular speech.
As far as the question to who committed the 9/11 attacks, Ahmedenijad and his supporters should listen to the people that have taking credit for their deed ever since. AQ has issued many statements and videos accepting the responsibility. In one propaganda video, Mustafa Abu Yazid, accepted the responsibility and blamed the Iranians for propagating the theory of Jews not going to work in the towers on 9/11. He claimed that this was an attempt on part of shias (no love lost between AQ and them) to take the credit away from the mujahideen. Now, that is an ironically funny situation.

Mr Mahmood Ahmedinajaad is the shining star of Muslim's and even if he is a Shia and a leader of a Shia dominated country I as a Suni orthodox Muslim fully support his views and his efforts to fight the opression of the Zionist state and the American oil grabbing capitalist thieves.
Besides Ahmedinajaad may not be entirely faultless but neither for that matter is any politician. He is the only president among Muslims who is fighting back like a lion, he hasn't threatened war yet, like Mr Bush. He has not gone round supporting a mass killing of Americans or Jews but he has asked questions few dare ask, and to be honest he is doing his best fo his country.
Pakistan's politicains should take note of this man, believe me Ahmedinajaad is what Bhutto was to Pakistan. He will be judged by many but all will salute the fact he was the best of his time and was not matched by any other.
I salute the hero of Iran and opressed nations everywhere... Mr Ahmedinajaad your a star keep up the good work and thankyou for your support for Paksitan in the hour of it's need.

Didn't one head of state go to UN and gave "proof" of Iraq having WMDs and other nonsense? They went to war, attacked two countries and killed thousands of people.

So your argument is you believe a internet video claiming aq admit responsibility is the judge jury and executioner on the subject? Since nobody even knows who the hell aq is apart from the fact they was created and financed by america, your argument is on very shaky ground!

Too much bombast, and not enough accomplishments to be awarded such distinction. He is noisey, and although perhaps entertaining to a degree, it becomes tiresome after a while. The fact is, when (and it is perhaps a matter of time) his nation is invaded, he has done nothing to prepare his country for survival. No Muslim leader has, to be fair. But no other are attempting to be as provocative, and fittig in with foreign sterotypes that feed into a war mentality. It's quite easy to deflate criticism against Iran, but hiding behind brazil and russia while in effect telling Europe and the US to "bring it on" is hardly fitting at this point in time. In short, I'm accusing him of attempting to start a war he cannot win, and there may be cultish reasons behind this.

Too much bombast from you my friend... In many respects Iran is far superior in it's Military system than a lot of Muslim countries, organisation si great and thier ability to fight a highly succesfull assymetric war has been proven time and again.
If Iran is attacked it would be World War Three for sure... Iran is more than a match for any invader, it is a sleeping giant... it's weapons industry is highly active and ever increasing in capability and as well as that they are in a very strong political position globaly.
Everyone seems to underestimate Iran and think it will roll over like Iraq but the fact is America has yet to conquer Afghanistan it's in no position to fight Iran unless the whole UN jumps in.
