Ahmadi Professor brutally attacked by two youths in Pakistan
ATTEMPT TO BEHEAD AHMADI PROFESSOR IN PAKISTAN
It is with great regret that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat confirms that one of its members, Professor Mubashar Ahmad (46) of Chakwaal, Pakistan, was the victim of a brutal and murderous attack last evening. The victim, who is a Professor at the Government Degree College, was attacked in his home by two young males who are students at the local madrassa (Islamic Religious College).
Just after the Maghrib prayer, the two students entered the home of Professor Ahmad and shouted:
“You are a Qadiani and so we have come to kill you.”
In act of gross violence the two students thereafter attempted to kill the victim by cutting off his neck. Professor Ahmad survived the attack however suffered extremely severe injuries. He was rushed to hospital immediately after the assailants fled his home and he remains in a critical condition.
One of the assailants was caught by neighbours of Professor Ahmad and is now in Police custody; the other assailant remains at large.
Grievous attacks on Ahmadis are becoming ever more common in Pakistan. Recently there has been a spate of anti-Ahmadiyya conferences and rallies that have been conducted by religious extremist organisations. Some of these rallies have been supported or even sponsored by the Government of Pakistan.
The Press Secretary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Abid Khan said:
“It is extremely worrying that anti-Ahmadiyya public rallies are being staged throughout Pakistan and in particular the Punjab. During these conferences audiences are instructed that there is a duty to kill Ahmadis and as a result uneducated yet indoctrinated people are led to believe that the bloodshed of innocent Ahmadis is something that will be greatly rewarded.
This horrific attack on Professor Ahmad is but one example of an Ahmadi being targeted. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in Pakistan continually brings incidents like this to the notice of the Pakistani authorities but repeatedly no action is taken. Consequentially the attacks continue to increase and occur with ever greater brutality. These attacks and threats have to stop and the Government must take immediate action to protect its citizens.”
Re: Ahmadi Professor brutally attacked by two youths in Pakistan
The chaps who attacked him are from local Marassa....Madrassa boys dont go to Colleges/Uniz.
Secondly if they had some personal issue then they would have said professor toone hammien bohat maara aabb teri baari hai...but nop they said yo Qadiani we are here to kill you..
Re: Ahmadi Professor brutally attacked by two youths in Pakistan
And I will take it that you are a narrow minded sectarian ******* who doesn't care about other people dying, but only for Ahmadies. If you were a proper muslim the death of any body would be a crime and you would fill this forum with posts regarding the death of all humans.
However you specifically post with a specific political agenda regardless the cost of life as long as it serves your needs.
Re: Ahmadi Professor brutally attacked by two youths in Pakistan
^^^exactly my thoughts for you....have you actually ever posted anything for Ahmadies?
I can see news on ARY One World regarding what is happeing in Pakistan or other Muslims all over the world however Pakistani media does no highlight issues which are related to Ahmadies in Particular.
You are most welcome to either condemn the attack or say shabaash to boys....its your choice...but dont start dictating anyone what to do.
Re: Ahmadi Professor brutally attacked by two youths in Pakistan
for whatever reason attack is really sick effort and culprit should be punished regardless of hate or racism. every Pakistani should have right to personal security. nothing can be justified for such actions.
but many of these cases, there is always a personal enemity about it, or some other issue to it. people make it to look like this to get more attention.
I personally know a incident, where a muslim and qadiyani family clashed and resulted in a murder of the Muslim guy. and many made it qadiyani muslim issue. but it was due to affair of guy and girl from the families. they didnt like it and keep fighting about it.

Was that incident portrayed as persecution by Ahmadis? No. You need to look at incidents as they are reported.
A whole load of well documented incidents and the laws and procedures of state clearly dictate that persecution of Ahmadis is intentional both by the government and a large part of Pakistani populous. Let’s look at it another way, there are rallies everyday for silliest of things. How many rallies are there against Anti-Ahamdiyya law’s and ahmadi persecution? None. The prejudice in Pakistani society against Ahmadis can not be over stated.

Quadianis only consider their cult as muslims and the rest kafir...this is what their roohani peshwa said in court, leading to the declaration of Quadianis being kafirs under the '73 constitution...
Oh the anger at exposing, once again, of what these madrassas really stand for viz spreading hate.
These madrassas are in no one’s interest, and the fire of terrorism and extremism we see all over country is lit by the graduates of these madrassas or those under influence of these graduates. It’s in the great interest of the nation to shut down these madrassas and replace with proper schools so we can teach our children something productive and save them from ruins like these madrassas are intent on doing.
As for your question of who considers who kafir, read below to get yourself some education. No two mullash can agree on the definition of a Muslim.

Mr Somali
so you agree with the acts of those students? agar ho to khull ke kaho...kisse darte ho?

I can understand Pakistan people prejudice, there is hate about them. But certainly there not that much hate that they want to kill them.
I grew up with many mates being Ahmadi's, half of my teachers were Ahmadi too. religion was the last thing we talked about, though all of us knew about the facts.
They are very much part of society, however when they come out of the country or want to come out of Pakistan, They make it huge huge issue, all can understand why.. its easier to get attention and asylem in other countries.
so i would strongly say, its over stated!!!! certainly there are few people dont like the ideology of ahamdis, its almost same as shia sunni hatred.
I still have friends from Ahmadi community, My father has ahmadi friends too. with some families friends since 20 years or so.
I dont think Ahmadi face more love/hate relationship than shia and sunnis
The situation of Ahmadis has been discussed numerous time on this forum and you must think people are too naive that you can fool them into believing this.
Here are only a few examples of how you are wrong;
There are Ahmadi specific laws or laws that target Ahmadis such as this one;
Ahmadis are vilified and hatred is spread against them via mainstream media, or via government sponsored conferences
The ruling parties also ensures that Ahmadis do not get justice through court by pressurising courts
Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the ruling party in Punjab, have conspired with fundamentalists groups like banned jamaat-udawa on this matter - this has been reported by Human Rights Commission of Pakistan
Similar declarations are present on application for for National ID Card, Passport and Government jobs.
Election Commission of Pakistan makes one list of voters for all citizens of Pakistan and a separate list for Ahmadis only. This was complained about by the EU observers in the last elections.
These are just a few examples. In short Pakistanis go to extra-ordinary lengths to persecute Ahmadis.
There are numerous other examples; I have mostly quoted the recent ones. I don’t think Sunnis and Shias go throw this sort of treatment and from even the few examples I have given only a fool or a bigot will claim that Ahmadis are being treated same way as Sunnis and Shias.
Feel free to give examples of otherwise but don’t make baseless claims without proof.
Re: Ahmadi Professor brutally attacked by two youths in Pakistan
This is highly condemnable, and i hope the culprits of this are brought to justice. Ahmedi or not, Muslim or not, Whatever the religion/creed/color/race, this is absolutely not acceptable. Also, it seems the two have been ACCUSED of attacking him, innocent until proven guilty. The professor should also prove his case, and police should investigate it without any bias so the truth can be brought forth.
This act of cowardliness should be condemned on any level as they are Pakistanis and they have the same rights as a normal Pakistani but there are hell lot of incidents like this happening in Pakistan but since they are not Ahmadis, it doesn't show up in the media.
