Israel is not saying Palestine should not exist. Palestine is saying Israel should not exist. This has given Israel the moral high ground too, in addition to economic, military and diplomatic superiority. Do you think Palestinians need to get real or not?
And who will get the Palestinians to get better? Leaders that cater to their base instincts (such as kill the jews) or the ones that will educate the populace to progressive future?
The rest of the muslim world may think they are supporting Palestine by denouncing Israel but in reality they're just making it worse for themselves and Palestine. What was the reaction when ahmadinejad said Israel annihilation? the rest of the world including russia and china denounced him and yielded moral high ground to the US.
I mean, come on, it's not all that difficult is it?
Israel should not exist. There is no moral\logical grounds for that country. So the Nazis killed the jews and the Bible\Torah says the holy land belongs to jews, why should Palestinians care? Its not there problem. Make a Jewish state in Bavaria. What right do they have in Palestine? You expect people to make logical decisions based on Judasim\Christianity.
Tell me? Any logical secular person would see the truth,, give me a objective arguement that justifies Israels existance as a state.
Beyond that issue, yes the Palestinians have to get real, its not realistic for them to say now that they can destroy Israel. They dont have the power\influence. Negotiation is the only path forward, but Israel has consistantly annexed land and manipulated international and regional relations to favor itself.
But history will come to its logical conclusion on Israel. It is only a matter of time.......
