Oh jeez. Cynical much? Can’t fairytales just be fairytales without looking for subtext? Like Ramsha, I grew up reading the stories and I don’t think I’m any less independent or capable because I did, and I don’t think little girls look at the princesses and mermaid and think any of those thoughts. You read them, you enjoy them, you play dress up, you grow up and move on to the next thing.
