I liked it very much...everyone did a great job with their acting...I have a feeling Sanju baba will get best villain...and Hrithik for sure will be nominated for this one...

Re: Agnipath Remake - First look
This remake is a disappointment, looked good in the beginning but later it seems like the director lost interest, just random pieces sewn together without any substance. The original was a remarkable movie, one of the best indian movie ever. The remake was just not at that level.
Amitabh changed his whole style of acting, his voice for that movie, hrithik couldn't deliver what amitabh did, but maybe its not fair to compare him with amitabh, he is way better actor than hrithik.
Sanjay did good, he looked really mean, but again, what danny denzongpa delivered, it was mesmerizing, although amitabh was the main acting force but danny also gave his best performance in that movie and I believe he is the ultimate kancha cheena and nobody can take his place.
For those who have seen the original, just remember the scene where amitabh sister is kidnapped, man what a marvellous scene was that, amitabh running with his gang through the narrow "galli's" of the inner city, it was a great scene, in the remake that sequence was so poorly shot that it was just disappointing, I lost all hope after that.
But it was better than the crappy and pathetic salman khan movies, which I have yet to figure out why people even watch.
Re: Agnipath Remake - First look
ok i heard a lot about this one....seemed good and had good reviews too but it came out as a disappointment.....the story was nothing new....acting was ok too nothing wow.....though sanjay and rishi came out with new look and roles and they did justice.....rest were ok....hritikh needed a complete makeover for this role.....they needed to show him someone from the village who is not educated and who has been brought up in gaaon and in the brothel area so black contacts, the local language and style was realllllly needed...his acting was good but the entire package was missing.
Re: Agnipath Remake - First look
just watched the movie and although it's a pretty decent flick in its own right, it cannot be compared to the original.
It caters to the audience today where everything needs to be OTT... be it the actor's appearances, the set's exuberance or the explicit emotional outbursts.
In the original, everything was subtly conveyed... the original Dinanath Chauhan didn't have to "cry" but still made the audience feel his pain ; the original Kancha didn't need physical deformities but he still managed to terrify the audience ; the original Mandwa didn't need to have a haunted tree to convey its blight and affliction.
The subtle symbolism is lost in the explicit OTT imagery but I guess that's what the audience today needs.
