Yes, the same thought occurs to me a lot too. I suggest that we need to do the best we can for whatever time we have to be with our parents. Time is not set about who is going to leave first, parents or us. But them aging and having deteriorated health shows some signs.
Lets all enjoy the time in hand to take care of them and making them happy.
