There was an ad on an online portal for jobs i applied for that and got an email from them telling me “you have been shortlisted”, so i should send them my degrees/certificates(clean scan copies), based on that they are saying now that, they will be conducting my phone interview.
Have already replied to their questionnaire via mail.
Just wonder, do they recruit in this way, any one here on this forum heard/gone through such kind of case ?
As they are telling, job is based in the UK, i have no clue how much are paid to a person with postgraduate degree and 6 years works experience?
what other incentives do they give ?
On top of all i am totally clueless how can one keep self safe from scams in such cases ?
Guide me please if need to be careful !
I've never ever had a telephone interview. Most employers probably want to see the person... In person. Especially if you have been shortlisted.

Is that the final interview or your first interview?
Having technical, behavioral and even case interviews on phone or web conference is fairly standard. Many applicants, shortlisted ones get in the process, the final few candidates get to onsite and/or in-person interview.

Also, is the person you are talking to an independent headhunter or a recruiter for the company? If latter, they will have company email address, if independent headhunter, you can ask specifics about the role which was not in the listing, who does it report to, new role or filling in a vacated position etc. Fairly easy to figure out scam artists that way. But even if it is a legit interview, always treat it like a two way discussion ... They want to see if you are right for the role and organization, and you are evaluating if the role and organization is right for you.

in the email they wrote one of their HR representative is in the UAE who will call, today he called unexpectedly around 10pm and had a talk with me for about 2 to 3 minutes, questions were not technical.
Will finalize later weather i was hired or not.
Told if hired it will be on probation period of two years (have not heard about that long probation period), my questions were, how long this all procedure talks, he told about two to three weeks , my second question was, do i need for it, he told no, you have to pay nothing....... also he told, they will connect me to a lawyer, in case i am hired, to proceed with my case.
I have lot of questions in mind, how come i can be hired on the bases of my certificates/degrees or my resume only?, no one have talked to me about my technical things, what i know, what can i do?, how come they offer me on the bases of my qualifications and my told experienced...... or there some employers do this way too ?

No he is not recruiter, he is company's HR representative(as they have told in the email), the email address sounds their website domain address it is like........ ********@aggregate-hr.co.uk, can any one here verify to this domain ?
Your tips are really good, i must check with this.
what kind of information/documents i should be careful for, to give to others as due to which i can be victim of scams ?

I smell a scam at best they are trying to steal your identity. They will soon ask for money or your bank account information. I provided you the right domain for the right company. aggregate-hr.co.uk was registered only a couple of weeks ago.
