you can marry a guy 40 years older than you but is this what you really want to do?. I know of a couple where the wife is 18 years older than the husband. No, this was not a typo. I repeat, the wife is 18 years older than the husband. ANd they seem to be very happy. They have children too.
So, if everything else falls in place, age should be a secondary issue.

age does make difference, i mean less than 10 yrs is ok, more than that is not exceptable atleast for me....i think aik generation gape a jata hai, 4,5 yrs difference is an ideal difference, haan iss say farq nahee perta k ladkee bari hai ya ladka (within the difference i've mentioned above), its all depend on mental understanding.
As girls mature at young age and are comparatively more inteligent then the boys at same age so girls should look for 8-10 year older guy to match her inteligence and maturity.

U have a very good question..
Male should be atleast 5-7 yrs elder than Female.
If the Male age is e.g 35 then 10 Yr diff is also not bad... he can marry 25 yr of Female.
Now The Reason....
Physiacally... The Life of Male is Longer than Female. I am not talking about the age here.
In a Bit Clear words .....
Male have not age limits of Sexual activities and Female has. So If a Male marry a female of his age or elder one... Female cannot fulfil the demands from Male physically.
So... Age difference is Important.
But offcourse it should not be that much to clash in the Generation Gap.
I have explained it in as soft words as I could.**:)
