Does age matter in a relationship and how much older or younger would you go for?

i used to think it mattered, but not anymore. within a few years sounds reasonable. as long as you're on the same page and compatible it is fine.

plus or minus 20 years. I dont think it matters.
Some 18 year olds look and behave like they are 25, some like they are 14. Some 30 year olds look like they are 45, and some 45 year old look like they are 30.
We all age differently, in appearance and personality.

It matters to me....a girl should be 2 to 3 year younger.

Ideally, 2-4 years is good. However it depends on alot of other factors, sometimes if everything else is good then you can't say no just because the age gap is bigger than what you desire. But yah still anything more than 6-7 years is really stretching it, atleast in my opinion.
