Its different for everyone! Some people are picky and take their time choosing the right partner, others get married right away.

I'm 27 and just got engaged! All my cousins got married at 26-27. I think in our khandaan we wait a little longer than most...

I was 28. And I agree with Sahar- in my family too we wait until at least bachelor's degrees are completed for both guys and girls.

Well.. i am going to be 28 shy away by a month for 29 yrs.. and i think after 26 its late... i wanted to get married around 27 yrs.. but had to wait bcoz of some requirements set by my parents :) but think 25-26 is perfect.. no pressure to have babies.. can have few yrs of fun.. rght now.. i am already being hinted to have a baby before 30.. and i aint ready...
i think for guys.. because they mature a bt late... 27-28 is good.. because i usually hav seen guys wanting to settle by 27-28 yrs.. which is nice..
n my family everyone of my generation married a bit late.. some even after 30s.. not so keen on the idea!!

Had my Nikah at 22 and will be married at 23 iA. It is also the same in my family, the girls at least complete their undergrads.
The boys in my family marry a lot later, closer to 30 and after finishing their education. I also don't think theres a right age, but after finishing undergrads would be ideal in most cases.

I'm 22 and inshAllah getting married next year, after I finish undergrad. For guys, around 26-28 is ideal, i think.

but its better to complete ur graduation n thn wedding as i m still studying n 2 more yrs to go 4 my studies........... its difficult to handle both.............

i got engaged when i was 18-19 i think..lol hubbie was 20-21

Got engaged at 21, got married at 22.
Horses for courses...everyone is different. I don't think I would encourage my own kids (or anyone elses for that matter) to get married at around 18-I think at that age there's so much going on that you'd want them to complete an education or carve a career for themselves. Afterall, when they are married how will they support themselves????
