Niks, I stopped aging when I was 21! you better believe it or im naraaz-ing. There was also a time when reema baji used to be older than me.

Why anybody’s age , wife’s age, kids age, salary , price of house , price of car , income, sales figures , is somebody else’s business ?
Leave the desi alone. If one desi knows something then it becomes talk of the town in no time.

No, I am not concerned... I just think people shouldn't mention their age thengiving out wrong age.

u need to have ur chunni-eyes checked...all that tons and tons of make-up they your non-desi-goras-angels you simply cannot see hiding their age] put on is for what? surely not to look younger than their age...
No, I am not concerned... I just think people shouldn't mention their age thengiving out wrong age.
but how could we know if they're giving out right or wrong age unless we know them from childhood?

I think answer lies in the point that we want ourselves specially to believe that we are young.
But Why? I think the major reason is,
The death, and aging, and we don't want it for obvious reasons.
The second reason which is much truer for desi people that, we have a rather heavy and unhealthy approach to life even the modern generation, that we some how make ourselves believe that our real life had yet to start, and for now if things are bad then its o.k, since we are preparing for life. This sequential way of looking at life is not good, (Aging for such a person is a surprise which he/she don't want to have) Its your life all the time, and if you enjoy it, you fear less of aging and dying since there is no point in living forever, Since universe can't keep you entertained for that long, even in this short life we spend alot of time in boredom.

yup exactly, not to look younger but to look pretty by enhancing their features and hide blemishes. Btw they also start wearing makeup when they are in High school. Are u trying to say its to look younger lol. Btw putting on makeup also makes one look older.

desi hide their age ..one reason i know is .. k they increase the age .. so they can retire a lil early especially since in Uk the retirement age went from 60 to 65 cuple a years back ..
lekin to hide the real age and look younger ... unless they do look younger ../ slicker .. then yeh i d understand they have to keep up with their body ..lekin if they look lke 50 and turn into 25 ..thas damm stupid ..
aur like someone said .. gorey etc hide thier visible and desi thier invisible :D

Trust me it's not just desi people....almost every single one of my co-workers in my team hide their age. They just tend to turn "21" again every year.....
