Okay I couldnt give any better title.

Please share how old is your friendship with your best friend/friends?

like I am friends with few of my freinds since very long.

e.g.

Friends with “B” since 15 yrs.

Friends with “U” since 10 yrs.

Friends with “F” more than 3 yrs.

Here I am only talking about those friends who I really consider friends, part of myself, my life and we know almost everything about each other.

A tear comes to my eye when I think of the friends I lost… one friend was more valuable to me than my own life and sometimes I am haunted by that ghost of devotion between us… even though it has been 5 years since we last ever saw each other in this world I feel that we are always together at least in spirit… We grew up together lived and shared both good and bad times together and then all was taken from us…

compared to that sort of friendship I have few friends… On GS over the last three or so years I have made many close friends and three years is not a bad time spent in company.

Though my remaining circle of friends grows smaller each year in the real world distance and age are terrible barriers.

I think I still have a handfull of friends that have been with me all my life but outside of that even my own beloved wife has only really known me for a year if that…

I have lost one of my best cousin (friend) too, some six yrs back :frowning:

Friends on my list are mostly from real life. We have distances, hardly see each other once in year, barely get time to talk, but woh kiya kehtay hein ke our hearts are very close. We have past those stages where we need to be close to each other in order to keep friendship going. Whenever we get a chance, we speak to each other, email, exchange txt msgs, and even see when I am visiting my parents in Lahore. I am so happy to have them in my life :slight_smile: . Bestestest thing about our friendship is that we dont stay naraz from each other for long. It has never happened that we have not spoken to each other coz of any gurdge or narazgi. Its always a temp. anger. we let each other know, shout on each other, and thats it. In a day’s time we are back to normal as nothing happened :halo:

Our famlies know each other too. Not only immidiate families but like mamoon, chacha, aunts, cousins everyone :smiley:

That is so cute.

I used to bear grudges with my friends for years... we grew up as rival boys and then went on to become rival men yet as we grew we learned that we each needed the other and so we grew to love one another.

Now it's like a brotherhood more than a friendhsip I guess.
