30 is a good age in today's practical field for desis.. only problem is, generation-gap is too much for the first kid and parents.. compared to if u were 23..

You want to get married when YOU are ready, and when you've got a person who understands and wont get in your way of doing things the way YOU want to do them.

Once you find someone like that, doesn't matter what year you're in. You want to move in for the kill immediately.

Age is just a number. Some people can study for decades and get all the degrees in the world and still not be ready for marriage.

It's abt when u meet the right person. For some ppl it happens in their 20s, for some in their 30s or even 40s. I got married at 24 and had my baby at 25 but id completed all my studies by 22. My friends are all getting married much later. With regards to kids i didnt want to b the oldest mother in the playground when u go to collect ur kids from school-i said i wanted to have my kids b4 im 30. Ive seen a lot of ghoris in their late 30s and 40s having kids and i know they have found it physically much harder to cope with (ie. the sleepless nights etc) than some1 in their 20s.

it depends on the person...if the right person came along 2moro then i wouldn't mind getting engaged but i would prefer to finish my studies and begin my career before committing myself to marriage...but otherwise i think it would be best after the girl has achieved everything she wants to achieve to avoid hostility

I think from 25-28 is a good age for girl. By then she has her career, she has some work experience and lived with her parents for sometime as well plus enjoyed her single life :~)

Well my personal opinion would be to get done with everything but in ur case, if u get done with everything by the age of 27 and still got residency then i may say, get married before residency and then start on it after marriage. You dont wana have kids when u r in ur 30's. Just make sure, the guy u will marry would let u carry on with ur residency and i m sure u know how hard is it gonna be for u to adjust ur married life with ur work.

and also there are following additional medical pionts that most of people are not aware of
the chances of getting healthy babies decrease with increasing maternal age e.g chances of down syndrome( a genetic disorder) is directly linked to maternal age.aand all those women who have there 1st kid above age of 28 are at higher risk of giving birth to baby with down syndrome( this fact is medically proven) also conditions like anenchepahly,hyrocephalus.and achondroplasia are linked directly to maternal age.
second all those women with increasing age when become mothers in there thirties start even have increased risk to their own life as conditions like preeclampsia ,abruptio placenta(bleeding in pregnany,that is bad for mother and your kid)
in long term women who donot start their family at appropriate age that is in there twenties have incresed chances of having breast cancer.

no breastfeeding is far more dangerous than age:D

those pseudo medical excuses are just there to make girls feel obliged to get married young and give up their dreams…it’s all anti feminist:rolleyes:

most women in my families had kids at late age..and we’ll all mashallah healthy…age is less dangerous than consanguinity (matlab: having babies old is not as dangerous for baby as having babies with cousins who is the child of cousin parents who are chil of cousin parents…):halo:

it’s plain stupid to jump and marry the first moron just cause some people think you have some more reasons to get deaseases if you get married after studies, and careers:grumpy:!

as PCG nicely said marriage is not about age…it’s about the RIGHT person…:halo:

breast feeding is protective against breast cancer.(so u are wrong noor)
and second these are not pseudo medical excuses these are medically proven.
go on net and search abt
Down syndrome
eclampsia and preeclampsia
breast cancer.
you will get your answer.

i said that “no breastfeeding” is more dangerous… my mother died cause she did not breastfeed…so i’m well aware of it:D

i know many women who had kids past 30 years…none of them had those problems…but i know younger women who had all sorts of problems during their pregnancies…i must in my family young mothers have more problems than old ones…cause young mothers are poorer than older ones…as those who make children young are those who are not intelligent anough to have nice jobs after long studies…while old moms are the rich ones who did studies and have nice jobs :halo:
