Well, it seemed like he was slowing down during the end of the match probably because of his back. The fans gave him a great final applause.
I'm sorry to see Andre go but at least he went out fighting despite having a bad back. His skills were still good enough to challenge the world's best players, but unfortunately his body could no longer stand under the pressure.
Agassi's final speech was one of the best and most emotional, heart-felt speeches I've ever heard. I'll always remember you, Andre. Thanks for everything.
Agassi is one of the greatest players that tennis has seen and he’ll always be remembered! :k:
You could tell that he still doesnt wanna stop playing but his body just cant take it anymore! But even with such a terrible back he left us with two gr8 matches in the first two rounds :k:
His speech was incredible. What a player he was and what an asset to the game of Tennis he has been. His 21 years of excellence will be celebrated for years to come. His games had the most excitement. What an honor to watch this class act live in our lifetimes. Andre, you will be missed. Thank you to all the fans who gave him the best of ovations at Ashe yesterday.
