Why this hue and cry? Who has given OBL the visa for hiding in military garrison in Abottabad? Military was lying about presence of OBL right from begining. I think that is more important than memogate.
Comming to memogate, in principle it is right of the present government to ask real owners of Pakistani army i.e. Americans what they want this hotch potch so called weak government dictated by their Pakistani military or they respect demacracy? This dual approach to Pakistan by uncle sam is going to further divide this country, because it is the main instrumental to create misunderstaings and chaos between the american pakistani military and pakistani civilian government. Pakistani American Military presenting itself as God in Pakistan and violating and insulting the constitution of Pakistan. Therefore if memogate is true than it is also in the interest of Pakistan. So chill opponents of memogate, and supporters of American Pakistan army.

A good politician is like a magician . They only let you see , what they want you to see . These conspiracies are like illusions to keep real issue hidden . The real issue is that our so called leaders are not capable enough to stay loyal to the country and run a government . And we as a nation suppose to do what you do with a crappy employee . We have to keep on doing it , unless we find someone who know what he is doing .

I don't agree. A good politician can also fail if the country is dominated by military. Why military and CJ are bent on memogate? If memogate is true, isn't this the real problem facing by Pakistan sicnce decades? This American Pakistani Military which itself consider as patriots and cusotdian of Pakistan are main culprits to bring this country in to this condition. Aren't AP military and CJ trying hard that this government should not focus on real problems since begining and waste its energy in momgate scandal and other problems created by them? Present civilian government is absolutely not responsible for this mess, they haven't been given a chance to work for the people.

How the govenment perform when military corp commanders oppose civilian aid by saying that military power would be weaken if civilian government becomes strong? How civilian government perform when its military, CJ form parallel governments? How government perform when according to constitution it can not excercise the powers to fire top military commanders? Have you read the statement of military gainst elected PM of the country? Tell me which civilian country is intimidated and harrased by military, cj?????

Exactly that is my point that when you can't perform , and have credentials to run government then everyone try to the leader . Right now all we can hope for is that next government won't be a military government , and whichever party comes in power they should start performing from day one . Otherwise we'll be in the same situation after 5 years and this cycle will continue .

No one need to fire no one . They shouldn't been given extension in the first place . Again I would say , if a government will perform whole nation will be on their back . Otherwise this cycle won't stop doesn't matter which party is in power .

The government cannot and will not do that since it is there due to American governments approval, I have posted details what Condaleeza Rice have mentioned in her book as to how NRO was agreed beteen BB and Mushy and how the Americans mediated for that to be signed.

So who do you consider at fault? Musharaf ruling with full powers and vowed to wipe out corruption when he kicked the butt of NS in 1999, why he had to agree to issue NRO allowing BB to come to Pakistan????

Agartala case was false and fabricated. Right from partition Bengalis wanted their share of rights which were denied by the then governments mostly ruled by dictatorship of West of Pakistan. Shaikh Mujib was outspoken person for Bengali rights hence installation of this false case to implicate him as disloyal to Pakistan or in other words West Pakistani estabilishment. That false case paved way for separation of Bengalis from Pakistan. Military is comitting again a same mistake. This may pave way for further distintigration of remaining Pakistan. If military wants that so be it.
First of all i dont deny that definitely lot of blame falls on us. but fact should not be mixed with our prejudice.
I dont want to see military controlling government at all either.
But the rule of the law should be applicable on every one.
I am still baffled by some of us not wanting to see the law applied on everyone... If govt is innocent and i hope it is.. then why its not following the case, why it is maligning the judiciary, this is an open hearing, if judges dont hear you or do justice people will atleast get to see the justice. I am honestly glad that some form of transparency is maintained in this. No judge from Punjab is taken, so you cant expect it to be under pressure from establishment either.
The famous incident of Hazrat Umer (RA) should be reminded, that at one time he stood and said that " people will you listen to me, then a bedouin stood and said No, we wont, till you tell us how you made this dress for yourself from the cloth as you need more cloth to make the dress" and Hazrat Umer (RA) step aside and requested his son to answer and His son told the man, i gave my father my piece of cloth also. This is how you handle a criticism in which one is innocent.

I will just say that the turkey government provided better living to the people and solved their economic and social problems. You should see Talat's program on it.. The export, the economy just shoot up..
