Can someone explain the logic behind retaining Agarkar over Sreesanth for the ICC Champions trophy? Mind boggling.

Couple of reasons -
1. Agarkar's performance was better in the West Indies.
2. Team India is moving towards a balance between experience & youth to prepare for 2007. All the other seamers in the team are relatively young/inexperienced. So makes sense to keep Agarkar.

There was also talk about dropping RP Singh over Sreesanth.

Agarkars alright...he was their only good bowler against the Windies...hes also quite nippy at around 87mph...and hes a better batsman down the order...
Neither is particularly good but Sreesanth is a much better test bowler...and a much better dancer to boot...
