Re: Agarkar better ODI player than Akram?
Another interesting stat. Akram has lost 40% (145 of the 356) matches he's played for Pak. Agarkar has lost 43% (63/145) matches that he's played for India. Ofcourse this means that Akram is better than Agarkar but one would have expected the gap to be even wider.
Now one would say that HEY! agarkar is a kid he's played only 145 matches while Akram has played 356 matches! There is no comparision. Yes, i agree. Therefore i figured out the number of matches Akram lost in his first 145 games. And the number is surprisingly similar to Agarkar's: 62!
Conclusion. In their first 145 games, both Agarkar and Akram have lost 43% of the matches for their country. Does this mean Agarkar is much underrated than Akram?
