Re: again
i dont think i understand ur question... are u currently booted in safe mode and now want to go back to normal mode?
Re: again
I guess, it only starts up in safe mode. right?
looks like due to some problem it wont start up properly in normal mode.
you have to be more specific.
sighz I wish you read the sticky thread at the top of this forum ![]()
Re: again
as soon as it boots .... press F8 ... see if u get options ... if u do ... then try to start in normal mode. It would be better if u elaborate ur query a bit more so that an appropriate answer be provided.
Re: again

Re: again
we need a very advance remote login system hmm.. so anyone can come on GS and report a problem and while they are on GS we shall be able to remotely debug their computer .. sigh
Re: again
Ansoon then I wont be here, I wouldn't want anyone to explore the contents of my computer :p
The problem is, not a lot of ppl can describe their technical problems. Because of lack of knowledge and they don't read the sticky either. I think we need subforms for everything e.g. hardware, software, OS, etc etc, but I don't know how much that is gonna help. :(
Re: again
hey one more suggestion,,, though i m not 100%
i wana pass it through mods, gurus before passing this tip..
mods, gurus.... here u go
can you edit the boot.ini file in win98?
i rem. in xp, when i check on safeboot from "msconfig" - boot.ini tab-- it adds "/safeboot:minimal in one of the lines of boot.ini file...
Re: again
^^ No boot.ini in 98
There is win.ini but that's a different kinda beast.
