AG Malik Qayyum - enemy of BB, friend of Sharifs.

I read some interesting points about the new AG Malik Qayyum’s history, and it made me wonder whether the government deliberately appointed him to send different messages to BB and Nawaz. For Bhutto would hate the man if you look at his history, but he is a good friend of the Sharif’s.

Is this an olive branch to the Sharif brothers?

yup, the news about the Mush-BB deal has annoyed some of the big guns in the PML-Q and they keep hinting at how Nawaz has no restrictions on his return.

There is always some process i n appointing an AG all over the world with some scrutiny... here the likes of Malik Qayum get appointed!!! he had to resign after charges.. one of the biggest corrupts in judiary history.. when i was in govt. service he was famous for getting the corrupt out of cases..

Qayyum should be a used cars salesman & not an AG. His license to practice law should have been canceled long time ago...

Musharraf is master tactician. When people thought he was down and out, he managed to blow the opposition unity to pieces, and all the major political leaders racing to make some sort of deal with him. Far from just relying on just BB, he also has Fazlur Rehman and the Sharifs all cosied up as well. BB must be all dazed and confused. :hehe:
