Re: after the walima....

FIRST...I want some explanations?

What was the basic theme of this thread?

What are we learning here? I mean....where is it leading to us? OR its just some discussion for the sake of discussion???

For me and I am quite sure--for many many others--a discussion always has o be constructive and a meaningful one.

I hope I gave my explanation as demanded or rather commanded by you.....bachhay!

Re: after the walima....

This thread is about different traditions that follow the shadi and valima like the muklawa or the chauthee kee rasam, the nasta rasams, etc.

Re: after the walima....

Thanks Lusi.

arjay sahab, the prupose fo this threqad is for people to ask about some tradition they heard and whather it is allnover pakistan, in certain ethnicities, widespread or not. It does serve a purpose.

Re: after the walima....

answered by lusi and X2.

some people are not aware of their traditions, becuase they never had an oppurtunity to see them, since they've grown up outside of pakistan. other times, people marry in families that are out of their home-regions..eg lahoris with karachites, punjabis with pathans, and in that case they are not aware of the traditions of the family they are getting married into. hence questions like these. these are very appropriate questions, which they should be asking without being made to feel like an idiot.

Depends on the individual, I guess... If the person believes that he lives in a hostile universe then, he does live in a hostile universe and if the person believes that he lives in a friendly universe, then he lives in a hostile universe.
