After Shakeel Siddiqui, its Adeel's turn

…no no he is not beaten.

With his hit song “Move your Body” in average bollywood flick “Kismet Konnection” (starring Shahid Kapoor - Vidya Balan), the Pakistani singer was set to give another breakthrough hit song for the upcoming bollywood film, Jugaad.

But acc. to the source after 26/11 producer Sandeep Kapoor and director Anand of Jugaad thought it was wise not to launch the music with a Pakistani singer’s track. That’s that. They plan to release the promos of ‘Kissey awaz doon’ later."

my views:
seems like India still not accepting the fact that its a secular country.
and Pakistani music director (since their work is only worth looking) need to acknowledge the importance of Big screen, so our artists dont have to face the accusations of being Ghadar, when they use Pakistan as their experimenting ground and india to get fame :halo:

ps. no offense to Adeel’s fan, but the guy look jamadar in his Kio Chehra video.

Re: After Shakeel Siddiqui, its Adeel’s turn

I didnt know tht song was from a pakistani singer

It has nothing to do with India being a secular country. India Pakistan relations are pretty messy right now. Releasing a film's music with a Pakistani singer is a sure way to have the music fail commercially.

If you recall, anti-Pak movies were a big hit in India after Kargil (1999), But after Vajapayee started the peace process, cricket ties opened up etc. people started talking about "bhai-chaara" etc. and movies like LoC-Kargil flopped.

Re: After Shakeel Siddiqui, its Adeel's turn

You know what, we should gather all of our mediocre, unimaginative artists under the banner of "Pakistanis up for pita'ee" and send them over to India. Instead of hearing the same news over and over, we can be done with this once and for all.

hahaha, its a latest trend to have a pakistani song in bollywood movies.
didnt u see the Abijeet in Ek Se Badhkar Ek, showing his oppression on this latest trend. he was dissing Atif. :hehe:

hahhaa…he said he dont know the artist :omg:

The program was “Ek Se Badhkar Ek”, but the rest of your info. is correct.

ops...thnX for correction.

come on, even ghajini has recently released in Pakistan. why dont we show cruelty towards indian cinema, or anything related to india?

you can also see how pakistaniz welcomed Indian teams…lol well i was amazed to see the those huge flags.

india presents its secular image, but they still have racial discrimination, and home-terrorism and extremism. i mean they should have it less since they are open to more ethnicities.
Whereas Pakistan is not only declared as Islamia Jumuriah, but it also neighbored with Iran (Shia Muslim State), Afghanistan (tribal muslim state), China (Muslim, Bhuddists, Christians, etc), India (maj of hindu population, and both shift places of Frnd-Foe from time to time), Tajikistan (another persian state), and then its own countless ethnicities and countless sects :bummer:.

Pakistan is Choon Choon ki malia, but it still never reacted that harshly in comparison to India…Why?

The Mumbai attacks originated in Pakistan, and the relations between the two countries have been going downhill since then. There is a negative perception of Pakistan in India currently.

In good times, we have also welcomed Pakistani cricket teams, players (for IPL), singers, comedians, actors and common people. Things are different now.

Re: After Shakeel Siddiqui, its Adeel's turn

India is full of racist people! who know nothing but the language of hate, revenge and all bad things to come along with it. Sad but true i keep on watching the hatred they have for Pakistanis in their news channels, its like 24x7 they have to abuse Pakistan.

We could have blamed Marriott bomb attack on Indians but we didn't! be it good times or bad Indians need no reason to hate Pakistanis and when you say we welcomed then correction your television people and filmy people used the Pakistani artists for their own benefit - If Atif earned some fame them bhatt brothers earned more money!!! so the favor was done both ways, don't show it as a favor done to the Pakistani artists only.

^ i couldn’t have said it better than u :k:

Re: After Shakeel Siddiqui, its Adeel's turn

Punjabee in USA looks like an indian fellow. He's stating false and totally unsubstantiated stuff which sounds ridiculously funny.

ORIGINATED IN PAKISTAN??? WHAATTTT?? you know what they say...innocent until proven guilty. so i think india and its people should stop accusing pakistanis for their own mess.

Well, you couldn't have blamed the Mariott attack on India because it was carried out by Al Qaeda. And we have provided enough proof that the Mumbai attacks originated in Pakistan. Thats not even a point of debate anymore. However, leave that aside. I dont want this thread to become another India Pakistan slanging match.

Pakistanis were welcomed all over - from IPL, to Indian reality TV shows (where enough people voted for them so that they could reach top 3), movie playback singing etc. The Pakistanis came to India because they earned more money & fame than what they would have got sitting in Pakistan. Obviously the benefit was mutual, and Indians benefited too. No one does any charity.

But there is negative perception in India about Pakistan today - more so than it was say a year ago. In this situation, no Indian producer/movie composer would want to risk going with a Pakistani singer. It is also a fact that we have enough options within India, so producers dont really NEED Pakistani singers. They are brought in just for variety.

It wasn't carried out by Al Qaeda you just say that because our media/ government didn't act like racist hating dogs by saying it was carried out by India or the Raw! The reason why that didn't happen was because no one wanted India Pakistan relations to get bitter again unlike the Indians who are waiting to start a fight all over again. Plus what proof are you talking about? a letter written in Hindi saying he is pakistani and yada blada..:s wah rey nafrat ki inteha indians wah reh lack of general knowledge.

Pakistanis were welcomed because of the high TRP's your shows got then. An example is Asma (the dubai girl in SGMP) people liked her even when her singing wasn't upto mark and when she was eliminated obviously the low TRP's of SRGMP got even more less thats why they kept on calling her again and again even after that; no one is related to Asma but it benefited the show thats why she was called back other wise there have been so many other contestants who want that fame and chance why aren't they called back again and again? Last years contestants Amanat, Junaid and Musarrat got the fame for that little time period only...where are they now? even the winner is no where in the scene but the shows TRP's were at a high if that one wouldn't have worked they would have never had another world challenge again. same is with IPL and other shows...and don't even talk about votes since no one knows whether voting system is genuinely honest or not...

And you have accepted it yourself that its more about earning yourself then actually caring about Pakistani artists. The pakistani singers were actually NEEDED because the variety and the change was IMPOSSIBLE for your music composers they would have still stolen music from pakistani b grade movies and all the other countries...you stale singer and all the new ones knowing how to sing only that same kind of stale melodies would have kept on making those same 100 saal phatay puranay ganay and you should accept that.

Going by the tone of your post, its obvious who the "racist hating dog" is here. Read the newspapers and you will know what proof has been provided. And if as you say no proof was provided, why is your govt bending over and taking action ?

First of all, Asma is not a Pakistani. She is an Arab from Oman. I am sure you know the difference. As for the other contestants, they would not have got even the short amount of fame that they did if not for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Add to that the numerous world tours and the dollars that came with it. And we havent really taken a lifetime guarantee for them have we ?

Despite our stale singers and stale music, an Indian music composer has won the Golden Globe and has a decent shot at winning the Oscars. And hordes of Pakistanis are going crazy to listen to those very same stale songs, discussing them on this forum and falling head over heels to meet those stars on their overseas shows.

I can live with that !!

Re: After Shakeel Siddiqui, its Adeel's turn

[note]ok ok guys, Calm Down! and live with the Fact that No Govt think about its people!

Punjabee in USA: we respect your ideology, and we appologize for abusive language. and we do realize that India provides attention worthy platform to Our Artist, but as teelobhain said its a two way process so dont undermine the factor that Pakistani's are also talented which is why indian producers hire them.

This hatred role from indian side is greatly played by the media, and they made 90% below poverty line population blame Pakistan for their miseries.

these mumbai, and marriot attacks both were for the foreign invertors, and not for the Actual Pakistani's or Indians.

so everyone think about the real you, and stop worrying about these politicians and their dirty politics. [/note]

Thank you ! I have maintained in my posts that this is a two way street - both parties benefit. And I have never said that the Pakistani singers who come to India are not talented.

My point, and coming back to the original topic, is that the current environment in India is anti-Pakistan and its not commercially viable for any producers (TV or movie) to use Pakistani artistes.

Probably you deaf and dumb then - go and watch your channels and you'll see whose pajamas are on fire. and who uses what kind of language for whom; but then again you are indian who are good at lying and backstabbing so even then you wouldn't understand since hatred has taken over you. The government doing that just to shut the barking dogs up! :)

I never said Asma is a pakistani open your eye oh blind one and then complain. i was just giving you her example. Why do you act like you have done them a huge favor that will change their life if you havent taken their lifetime gurantee - the way you are ranting shows that you want not only those contestants but also the whole pakistani population to keep on licking your feet for eternity for something that was temporary. The contestants came they entertained you and the zee people earned loads of money, they themselves got some money in return and went back..while they were there unlike indians we did say that yes they were given a chance great..but now its over! why are you still not over it...Why are you still dying for us to believe you did them a huge favor even now? why are you stretching this even now? the ipl is over no one even remember what happened and the shows are over...but indians are still in a denail.

Thats because other people are not as bad as the indians, this doesn't prove that indian music and stale musicians are good this proves that how good us Pakistani's are! even after your false accusations and hatred we are still acting as if nothing happened - we are over what happened at time of the partition and we want to move on, live in peace and harmony unlike you Indians who trigger hatred again and again after little breaks. Slum dog was made by a british guy hence the recoginition otherwise don't forget the times when Amir and gang have been trying hard and making films especially for the oscars and no one is bothered about it instead they call indian films 3 hours of boredom for the jury members..so thank the white guy.
