Hey guys

i want to continue my further studies after graduation , as am doing Pharm D , so what is better option for me ?? i mean i cant go for MBA her lerkay her mahulay mai tooo her kisi nay kerliya hay even ajj kal peoun ki jobs mai bhi mba chaye !!:@

so that's like a doctor of pharmacy? why don't you practice as pharmacist? If you do wish to study further, maybe commerce? Might help you become a pharmacy owner one day.

You are not planning on practicing? I don't see the need for further education if you want to stay in the field........unless you want to go into research then a PhD would be helpful OR you want own your own pharmacy where a MBA would be helpful

Well, my initial question to you is what it is that you want to do with your qualification? Community pharmacy practice tends to be the default choice for many, followed by hospital pharmacy but there are other choices such as going into sales & marketing, production research, or quality control. For each of these choices, you can opt for a full graduate degree like an MBA or also complete certifications such as those in quality management and production & operations management.

My advice to you would be to choose wisely based on your aptitude and interests, and not let the popularity of programs (or lack thereof) dictate your career track.

yes after it , i would go for as clinical pharmacist at aga khan university , if i will gap in studies then hugaya kaam mera !
i just want k kuch better option hu ...

You are Right Lucid in Pakistan PharmD is an undergraduate degree with a 5 year program..
then i will go for clinical pharmacy but don't want to go for sales and all that , there is fake degrees guys having b.com degree and doing sales job ? so i cant go there and if i will do MBA then i have to go for marketing base job .. wanted to go for clinical side but they are not paying good ... so continuing studies is better option for me and then can lead to me a good place where i can earn more and respectful peoples at least having genuine degrees !

nope... undergraduate... it replaced the BPharm degree in Pakistan.

Okay, probably a stupid question, but we dont have graduate/undergraduate system here ..

So whats the difference between the two?

I thought an undergraduate is a BSc/BA and then you can top it off with a Postgraduate MA/etc etc

And graduate degree is?

^You have it right...........at least that is how it here in the US
Master's/Doctorates/postgraduate are graduate degrees

Here you complete a PharmD after getting a bachelor's (usually) and it is considered a graduate degree, I guess it is different in Pakistan??
