If Pakistan does not assert its sovereignty then outsiders, whether the US or China, will have to crush Jihad, Inc. to protect their security (all governments work to protect their people from threats. Well, except one government..). If Pakistan really cared about its sovereignty it would not let Jihad, Inc. run wild on its "sovereign" territory for 8 years and counting. What other country allows those sworn to destroy it bases on its soil? Every other country with a longstanding government (to except Afghanistan) facing terror from its borders has crushed it: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Indonesia, the Philippines, etc.
Let's see what Pakistan's new offensive does. Will it really crush the terrorists or will Pakistan bomb for a few days before signing another "peace deal" to allow terrorists space and time to regain their strength?

yeah, the mighty US after failing utterly to control Afghanistan is now trying to put the blame on Pakistan. What have they achieved in Afghanistan in the last 7 years. They should look at their dismal and pathetic performance there and tryy to improve it before embarking on further stupid adventures. They never seem to learn, be it Vietnam, Lebanon, Somalia or Iraq.
