on some online islam QnA sites, i’ve see a wide range of opnion, from allowed to haram.
Site 1 - Oral sex is haram
Site 2 - Oral sex not haram, but not encouraged.
personally, i don’t see how it is haram. anal sex, and sex when the wife is having her periods is outright haram. it is mentioned. it is safe to assume that everything else falls in the not haram category.

Dont take it personally, I'm not upset with ur reply, I just wonder that be4 making statements, y dont guppies take a personal stand of the statement they r making. What I mean 2 say is that, ur wife or 2 be wife(if ur single) reads da Kalma, & she gulps down something impure with the same mouth. Where is da purity there?
Mazi is impure. There is no arguing there. Contrary to the popular belief, spit and swallow are not the only two options.
I hold the Quran, with the same hands (i know, only the left) that I used to clean my behind maybe a few hours back. Maybe I should not do that. Wuzu is supposed to make the body paaak. If something gets dirty, it can be cleaned and washed to make paak. THe argument that the mouth is used to say the kalima so oral sex is not allowed, just doesn't fly.
And Malik, you show me where it says Oral sex is Haram in hadith or the Quran, and then we'll go from there. I can tell you whats harm in sex because it is there in quran, and has been mentioned in hadiths as well. putting extra restrictions in place in religion might seem like a good noble idea to some people, but I say no thanks. If you don't want to do it yourself, fine, don't issue any fatwas that dont have a leg to stand on.
i don't think it's even about putting restrictions .. it's about degrading the religion to a level where you try and determine the length of your pubic hair and find or invent rulings from within religion.. What's broached as a subject in the Qur'an is sufficient guidelines for us.. don't go trying to find out if it's ok to wipe your ass with the left or the right hand as these kinda frivilous details drag the religion down to a level that mocks the whole purpose of the Divine message and an honorable messenger.

oral sex = allowed (becoz i have never read any where that its haram)
but its up to the husband and wife up to which level they want to go during oral sex and it does add that extra spice to your love life.
sex it self is very important in married copules life according to islam and islam itself gives right of divorce to either of partners if other one is unable to fullfill the right sexual needs of the partner.

I’m pretty much sure there r 101 other dirty things Xcept sex which r not Xplicitly mentioned in da Quran. I’m pretty much sure u get da correct picture when I term Xplicit.
I’m not issuing fatwas my friend, I’m not an aalim. But I’m definitely trying 2 clear ur brain of an impression that movies have left on u. I might, I might not.
you're so funny. before you start blaming (you already are) the oral sex phenomenon on the west, you should know it has been around for the longest time. I suggest that you do talk to an alim and clear your mind of the misconceptions that you have.
my friend goes regularly to halaqas. they're covering marriage these days. i asked him whats been said about sex, and my friend goes, the guy there said, only two restrictions; 1) no anal sex, 2) no 'intercourse' during periods. apart from that everything is allowed. just depends on the couple what they want to do. sex is not just for making babies. it is a right of both the husband and wife....
and i don't get the picture when you say there are 101 more things that can be done. lets start covering them. i'm sure we can cover them and figure out if they're allowed in islam or not..
you do realize that after posting so many posts, you have not provided a single proof as to why/how oral sex is haram.
To my opinion , oral sex is not haram but as I read some palces taht it is Makrooh ( or should be considered as makrooh)
Makrooh is a very cool term actually, if mullahs cant find answer to something just diclare it Makrooh rather than using the wisdom but then they don't have any.
it should be makrooh to issue fatwas like this ..

Let me clarify the problem. I m sure that many wud not believe this but this is true.

as a female, I just wanna say that it is tuff for a girl to talk about such things, even if u r her fiance, I am sure she knows more than she is letting on....dont try to push her to talk too much about it, it prolly makes her rele uncomfortable, wait till after the marriage
i think rather than intercourse,marriage equips a man and woman to meet the challenges of life with a better vision .Its another stage of man and woman gets a different level of maturity and is also a base of next generation.
It also teaches both the partners to live together in harmony ,teaches them how to respect each others and their views and live in this changing world.
If your wife is too conservative-just become a swinger or have a piece on the side.
