So how long did it take you to secure your first proper job , after finishing your education?

First one took two months to find. Then I changed 4 jobs in 6 month.

Got a summer job straight after graduation for 3 months and then my uni gave me an internship for 6 months after that.

I guess she is asking for full time jobs which you are supposed to get after graduation to become a tax paying and fully inducted and productive member of society. :D

i got it after 2 days...but then i left it within 14 days....next job was after 6 months

i had a seamless transition alHamdolillah. when i came to Canada, i started my Graduate Studies un der this lady...she is very nice and has been kind ever since. i finished my masters and PhD under her supervision. upon completion, she offered me a post doc position and 5 years later i'm still working with her. i'm looking forward to secure faculty position and iA may get one in due course when Allah will allow to happen. alHamdolillah, i'm satisfied with my progress so far.

i was lucky to have a full time job while completing my final semester (only 1 or 2 classes were left i think)

Alhamdulillah I got my dream job in the 4th month after a very long process of Written test, Group Discussion, Panel Interview, Final interview, Medical and stuff.

I got my job before my last semester at school, so I took 3 months off for summer and then joined.

i was lucky to have a job in my hand before submission of my project and joined them a week after i was released from the university. Worked with them for three months while tests,interviews and medical etc for another very good company were ongoing. Once all hiring formalities were completed, i switched my job.

Yeah I was wondering if it is common for people to start submitting job applications and doing interviews BEFORE they graduate? Medical people don’t count, ye always have jobs

I started searching job before completing my graduation and i found when i become graduate ? full competition is out there guys...
