Google seach engine was also blocked for a day but its again out of the restricted list.. :)
but banning such website like youtube, fb, orkut, twitter is a good move.. i just cant understand why ppl start saying that ban internet.. fb and twitter were like addiction and was acting like a slow poisoning.. :\

Mehnaz, it is because banning porn & bollysh!t websites do not serve indian agenda of depriving Pakistani public of the global world of information / knowledge & interaction (youtube) & isolating Pakistan further more from the virtual world as well.
Also Talibotic goats & ninjas need something to keep them entertained in their private time.

When the ban is lifted, which it will be eventually, images and content will be still available. The day has passed, the uproar had subsided. We should all move on. And instead ban the flourishing Diamond Market
