after eating

i have observed wenever i eat something rich in oil and carbohydrates…i feel dizziness in my head and difficulty in breathing for next 3-4 hours or untill i do some exercise…like if i take egg in breakfast i feel heavy breathing and trembling feeling in my body till mid day or even later..
im 22 years old and single..im not obese but i need to reduce 8-10 kgs

A typical symptom of heavy eating, can be indirectly said, over eating. You must be 'non-used to' of heavy stuffs which your metabolism couldnt handle on the go which creates problem like headache. Headache is simply caused when heart transfers most of the blood to abdomen to digest the heavy stuff due which head couldnt gets its due.

Again, when you exersice you feel good. Its because exersice speeds up your metabolism and by which the food gets digest most faster which in turn helps heart to send blood to all the body parts more easily and head gets its due of the blood very fast. Your moods change and you feel good !!!

Thats why its said "Exersice not only to keep your body fit but also to keep your brain and heart in sound state"

I can explain this thing in several pages but m sure that you've understood the core issue.

best,

Oh I did not know about this....and beside excercise what else we should so for a faster digestion? Is there any med or home made remedy? For example there is a product called Hajmola.

I hope you are getting it right. Exersicing doesnt mean that you start jumping ropes right after the meal. It has a system to follow. Digestion boosting tablets like Hajmolas are good temporary solutions means you can take them occassionaly but not regularly and dont try to take them regularly. It may hamper your immunity system and can make your metabolism rely on it. Taking them Once or twice in a week or so is fair enough.

If you want to speed your digestion, then you need to improve your eating habits a little bit like :

  1. Never take water /soft drink after the meal : It disturbs the hot nature of HCL acid (an acid resposible of breaking food elements).
  2. Chew properly : Chewing properly breaks up the food in the mouth in small peices which helps HCL to break it down more faster, hence faster digestion.
  3. Exersice daily : Already explained.
  4. Avoid Junk food / fast food : These items generally have bad elements which take longer than usual time to get digest.
  5. Avoid eating anything after 9 PM : By 9 PM our body (including metabolism) becomes too tired for any big activity. Any big activity after this time will make the matter only worse just like eating a big meal (say dinner) after 9 PM.

best,

as wiper already explained, i would like to add some VERY basic things.

. add an apple to your diet daily.. specially (sounds weird) full apple before say 8pm. so cut down ur "supper"/dinner size to accommodate this apple.

reason? lets say 1 apple contains 100 calories (good calories btw), body needs to spend 130 calories to reach those 100. very basic concept. again, adding an apple daily, every day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year would do WONDERS. u will hardly get sick, your body will become more lean(keeping all other factors same), ur headaches/footaches/backaches/ will go away, breathing will stabilize, skin will improve its elasticity. (i wish this SIMPLE thing did my work too and i stayed home).

. add a high fibre shot in your day. I recommed "fibre 1" 44% or 52% formula of cereal. 44% in my opinion is better tasting raisen and 52% is ...errrr.... strawberry with ......... i think honey/oats/maple ...

reason? fibre/cereals aid in 'boosting' ur digestion system's ability to break down food. also, there are toxins in your body gathered around the large intestines (stored fat, bad stuff, toxic waste) and all this is STICKING to your intestines (having roti/parathay/chapati/rusks/cakes/toasts adds into this situation). fibre-rich diets starts "eating up" this blockage.

result ? ur body feels WAY lighter , happier, energetic, (moods upgrade to feeling GOOD), in women in stabilizes and regulates their cycle, and basically improves your whole "feeling" and attitude towards everything.

. i am recently experimenting with this, im a hardcore drinker of softdrinks (with meals), specially when im out.. i was sick for a week recently and i tried stopping my intake of coke/pepsi/sprite/7up and everytime i am out, and order food, i ask for orange juice. (be it pure form with pulp, made from concentrate, watered down, doesnt matter).

result? after meal (compared with having soft drink) i felt WAY energetic. meal felt broken/digested a lot sooner, and despite of sickness, i felt more 'lighter' to be moving around.

so start with either apple or fibre1 cereal or both, and report your findings here.

Re: after eating

talk to your doc and get your blood glucose levels tested. dont listen to nonsense advice from forum ppl.

Thank you Wiper & Confused!!! One more question my nephew always complains after eating "Khana seene pai bheet gaya hai" he is a kid and that's how he explain whenever I asked him. So is that the same problem?

Re: after eating

zennia, not exactly sure about the problem but most probably seems kinda gastric related. Need to see doc in this case.
