Anti ageing treatment shouldn't be started that late. I was talking to a beautician at Clarins who suggests mid 20s.

Yes, mid twenties is the right time to start, waiting till your in the 40s is late!
Use a good moisturizer, sunscreen, and a good eye gel...

Totally agree! Anti-ageing needs to be started BEFORE the ageing process gets you lol. Early 20's imo.
However if you are 40 now zaiena and haven't done anything yet, then get started right away! I would suggest that you pay a visit to a department store and speak to some of the girls on the make up counters. Don't feel obliged to buy anything - come home and check online for reviews of products you are interested in.

I would highly recommend using Retinol or Retin-A. Also, make sunscreen your best friend and be liberal while applying it. That should take care of all aging issues.

but i hv asked this for my mom. who just wash her face with good face wash and a moisturiaing cream like johnson. she tried loreal white essence and youth code. youth code give more good result as she just applied once. She has tried olay total 7 effects but can't get required result.
u all know mostly mothers r not taking care of her skin well. and all time busy at home.she never took facial or mask. presently her skin is dry. hv open pores bit.and not firming. but fair complexion.
so i want that she starts care of her skin buy follow good moisturizing cream having spf and scrub and mask.
i don't know product at all. So i thought i ask here may be some of ur views help me to select best one.
